My Reads for the week of 2/17-2/24

Shan Gee reads for the week!!

Lets check out some of my reads for the week!

First up Love Don't Come Easy by C. Monet

As always C. Monet does her thing when it comes to her storytelling. I gave this book five stars because nothing less! I love reading a good love story. I loved everything from the story line to the unique names of the characters!I loved everything about Pardison! That man knew what he wanted and was not afraid to get it! Yes lawd I need me a him! If you're a sucker for a good love story then this is the one for you!

Next up.. I read Flicted: He had a hundred raps, but not one girl by A.J. Kush

I'm giving this read five stars! This book was very good! I loved everything from the flow of the book to the development of the characters! Reading this book I was easily able to picture it as a movie! This author did a great job with his story telling this book! If you need to take a trip down memory lane then this is the read for you. A.J. does a great job with placing you in this era! This was my first read by this author and I look forward to reading more!

My third read was She Loves Me,: She Loves Me Not By Dominique Nikail

Man this book was good from start to finish! I was hooked from the very first page! I loved everything about the book and it flowed so well! There were a few errors in the book but it did not take away from the story line at all. This was my first read by this author and it will not be my last! If you love an action packed booked filled with drama then this read is for you!

Now although I mostly read Standalone's I did manage to get a few series in there as well. I completed one series and then read book one of another.

The first series I read was titled All I Need In This Life of Sin Is A Thug's Love 1&2 by Vee Bryant

Now this series was very interesting, and I say that because I gave each book a different rating. I was able to give part one a total of five stars. The story line was very well laid out and it flowed very smoothly. The ending to part 1 left me wanting more and i loved how fast pace it was! When it came to book two i only gave it 4 stars. This was because after i got about 60% into the book it seemed like it was rushed causing there to be a few inconsistencies in the book. One that really bothered me the most was the age of KJ. In book 1 he was 4 years old but in book 2 he was 3. It bothered me because it clearly wasn't a mistake and the age was repeated so many times in book 2 and that's what made it stand out. Even with the inconsistencies I will still be reading part 3 when it drops!

Last but not least I read The Coldest Love of All By Sha Jones

This was my first read by this author and I must say I'm very impressed! If you love a book that's gonna keep you wanting more with every turn of the page then this is the book for you! I live the flow of the storyline! Once I got into the book I could not stop reading. I must say that I am looking forward to finding out what happens in part 2! Great Job Sha! You have gained a new fan for life!
