Recap of 2018!!

My Top 20 Reads of 2018

1.)          Broken Clocks by Danielle Allen – this was by far the best book that I read in 2018! This was the first book to ever have me in tears man. After reading this book I was left speechless. Those that know me know I’m far from being speechless. Broken Clocks really touched my heart! This was my first read by Danielle Allen and I do look forward to reading more of her work!

2.)          This Could Be Something Special by C. Monet – this is the one story that had my feelings! One Minute I was crying and the next I was laughing! The love in this book was breath taking! I loved everything about this book!

3.)          Dying for Your Love by Cabria- this book was most definitely worth the 5 stars that I gave it! I loved everything from the flow of the book to all the twists and turns! The overall vibe of the book was just that good!

4.)          3:AM by Jai Bree’nae- this is the one book that literally left me with my mouth wide open! I was left with so many questions! With all the questions I was left with I still place this book in my top 10 read for 2018! Whenever part 2 comes out I will be sure to read it because I must know what happens next!

5.)          The Middle Building on Treemont Avenue by Danielle Carleon- this author is another new author for me! I loved the way the storyline flowed! The bond that the characters had was very nice! Although I hate the way it ended, I must say it was worth every star that I gave it!

6.)          Dripping Chocolate by Keith Thomas Walker- Very good book from start to finish! This was one book I could not put down. The storyline would draw you in and make you feel connected in some kind of way! Keith does a great job with that.

7.)          She Got it Bad for A Heartless Gangsta (the series) by Shvonne Latrice- man where do I begin?? This series was something else. The story line just kept getting better and better with each book! I loved that it was a 4-book series. Each once received 5 stars from me! This is the series that made me a Shvonne Latrice fan for life!

8.)          Hold Me By The Heart (the series) By TT Dorsett- I loved everything about this series. The sex scenes were damn good! Each book just kept getting better and better. The secrets will have you on edge wondering what will happen next. This series also had a few life lessons in it as well!

9.)          Her Marriage, His Lies By Cabria- I had a love hate relationship with this book! This is the first book that I ever read that made me hate a character. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone that going through the motions in their relationship.

10.)   Love & Hennessy: An Addictive Kind of Love By Carmen Lashay- this series is what made me a Carmen Lashay fan! This entire series kept me on my toes and I could not put this series down! The ending of each book made me want to keep reading! If you want to read a series that’s going to have you both laughing and crying, then this is the one for you.

11.)   Mr. H.I.V. by I.B. Freeman- this is one story that will have you deep in thought! It was very good from start to finish! I recommend everyone read this book because it’s very educational.

12.)   You Belong to me by Ty’Son- This book was really good. The suspense is what kept me wanting to read more. Love will make you do strange things.

13.)   Ex-Communication: Love Gone Wrong By C.O. Kane- this is another book that left me speechless. This is a 5star read that every female should read. Yes, my emotions were all over the place. The storyline was very educational as well!

14.)   Renegade Boys: Truths Revealed By Meesha- This was my 1^st read by Meesha and it was a damn good one! This book is filled with action! I must say it did leave me in my feelings at the end. I can’t wait to read the next part

15.)   Will I Ever Be Enough?: The Golden Effect By C. Monet- if you love a book filled with pure and natural love then this is a must read! This is one that I could not put down as well!

16.)   XYZ(part 1&2) By Kimille- reading this book I can see it all play out like a movie! I loved the family bonds in this entire series! It just kept getting better and better with each turn of the page!

17.)   Safire: The Fall of an Angel & Safire II: The Rise of a Fallen Angel By Ty’Son- This series was a page turner. I love how I was able to connect with Safire. This series is another one that I could see play out in a movie.

18.)   Deck of Lies by Cabria- This was my first suspense read ever and I must say I loved every part of this book. With every page turn you were left wondering what was going to happen next. If you love a thrill, then this is one for you.

19.)   Hating the Skin I’m In by Ashantay Keys- this book was beyond say but yet it was really good! Reading about the character and the things she went through brought tears to my eves! Ashantay did a great job with bring out the emotions in this story.

20.)   You Could Do Damage By C.Monet- this book reminded me that life is 2 short to let anything stop you from getting your happily ever after. I loved everything about this book. I recommend everyone check this one out.
