  Its Thursday!! And you know what that means.... Its Author Spotlight night in the Kween's Book Klique on Facebook. Tonight i had the pleasure of getting to know Author Tiffany Gilbert. It was a joy getting to know her on tonight! Here's a little of how our conversation went.

Shan: So what is the name that you write under?
Tiffany: Tiffany Gilbert

Shan: How can your readers connect with you? Website? Social Media? Would you provide links?

Shan: How did you get started writing?
Tiffany: I've been writing since 2009 and i used to write poems a lot when I was younger.

Shan: How long does it take you to write a book?
Tiffany: It depends on my mood sometimes a week sometimes a few weeks and sometimes a month it depends on me.

Shan: Where do you get your ideas?
Tiffany: right off the top of my mind I don't write nothing down

Shan: Tell us about your writing style?
Tiffany: urban I love writing about drugs money fashion sex fighting disloyalty the same things you see in the streets

Shan: What is the name of the first book you ever published? When?
Tiffany: My first book was In The Heart of Detroit in 2016. When i first published I was scammed so it got took off the shelves which that was God's doing. In 2018 I signed again where I wrote Iman and Miracle. Now I have been on my own in my own company since July of 2018 and I've taken the books down under the person I was published under before now I'm putting them back under my company.

Shan: How many books have you published?
Tiffany: 8 right now I have two more I'm about to re do and put out and I'm working daily

Shan: What do you do when you're not writing?
Tiffany: Shop, read other people books, working, doing nails or working on my clothing line

Shan: What do you find the hardest about writing?
Tiffany: Writers block

Shan: What is the most surprising thing you have learned in your writing career?
Tiffany: nothing surprises me anymore I sit back and observe but the writing world could be very messy

Shan: Who is your favorite author? Why?
Tiffany: my favorite author right now is Wahida Clark always have been

Shan: What is something you want your readers to know about you?
Tiffany: I'm a cool author/Publisher once you get to know me support me and I'll support you

Shan: out of all your books which one is your favorite? Why?
Tiffany: I Got My Savage Back and He Got Mines Lyric and Mulah story. I say that because I went through some S**t with this book but i didn't let it stop me from putting it out even though it didn't hit number one I'm blessed because I wont allow another soul to stop me from what I love to do

This Hoe got Roaches IN HER CRIB by Quan Millz

Ok now I'm not gone lie.. I was scared at first to read this book based off the title alone!! This book was actually not what I expected it to be, it was better! Of course I gave it 5 stars! Man the details give you the perfect visual of what's going on in the story! I must say I was not ready for that ending though! Now I can't wait to read the next part to this story! Doing a little research on Quan Millz I can see why there is so much controversy over his writing style! I was initially led to him due to constantly seeing his name on my Facebook TL! Now don't get me wrong the titles are very ridiculous but the work inside them are A1 (very Good) in my book! I try to give everyone a chance by actually reading the book instead of going off what everybody else says! I say Quan keep up the good work!! I look forward to reading more from you!

Love's Unexpected Twist ( the series) By Chey!

     This past week I had the pleasure of reading this 5 star series! Now I've read quite a few books by Chey, but this particular series here is now one of my favorites.     Reading this series, not only do you fall in love with the story line but you fall in love with the characters as well. Chey does a great job with making you feel like you are apart of the book.     Book one gave you just enough to keep your mind wondering and wanting more. The ending on book one had me immediately heading back over to amazon to grab book 2 to this series.     Now book two did not disappoint either. I must say it did start out a little slow for my liking but baby... once it picked up it took off. Book two held more twists and turns than a little bit. This kept me wanting to read more and more. With every turn of the page Chey made sure to keep you on your toes.     My favorite character in the entire series was Corez. That man...
